Pakboats are folding kayaks and canoes with aluminium poles for rigidity and structure and 4 or more separate inflatable tubes for flotation. The collapsed boat fits into a convenient shoulder bag and takes less than 30 mins to assemble. The pump is included in the package

The 14ft Swift is faster and sleeker than the 12ft model. It has additional structure for greater stiffness.
It is a great choice if speed and tracking are your preferences. Available in green, blue and red.
All Pakboats spray skirts are grey, made of a waterproof breathable fabric. This fabric is very soft and comfortable. Pakboats spray skirts are cut to minimize pooling of water and each skirt has a mesh pocket in front. The skirts have removable suspenders as well as a draw string around the top.
Puffins have two different cockpit sizes. The original cockpit is 29 inches long and the smaller spray skirt will fit. This cockpit size is on all gray Puffin Sport decks, all Puffin Kayak 12 decks, all Puffin Swift decks, and all Puffin II solo decks. The 29 inch cockpit is also on all Arrow decks except the A14 double deck which does not have cockpit rims.

The longer 36 inch cockpit takes the larger spray skirt. It is on all Puffin decks made for 2009. This includes new style Puffin Sport decks as well as decks for Puffin Saco and Puffin Saranac. The larger spray skirt shares the features of the smaller one. In addition, the larger one is reinforced with an aluminum rod across to minimize pooling of water.

The Puffin Saranac is our most popular kayak, as it combines versatility with affordability. It comes without a deck for $1075.00. The single deck is $195.00 and the double deck is $245.00.
The new Saranac hull and deck fabrics are very attractive and give the kayak a sporty new look. Optional Saranac decks offer one or two cockpits, making this kayak as versatile as it is good looking. Leave the decks behind for fishing convenience. Use the double deck for a day trip with a friend, or take the solo deck for a couple of weeks of camping.the Saranac will take it all in stride.
